Kate Pym (Probyn) says her name was actually Probin, although her father was listed as Provin on his death certificate

Alice married John Halewood, son of William Halewood and Martha Sherlock, on 6 Jun 1897 in Birkenhead Wirral Cheshire [St. Mary's].¹⁷ (John Halewood was born in 1876 in Birkenhead Wirral Cheshire,¹¹ died in Jan 1940 in Birkenhead Wirral Cheshire ¹⁷ and was buried on 2 Feb 1940 in Bidston Birkenhead Wirral Cheshire [St. Oswald's] ¹⁷.)
