Rose married John Peter Bonnesen (5/12/1877-20/2/1966) in Chicago on 27 Jun 1904. They must have divorced because Judith Dolanski found him in 1940 in Nickerson, Kansas with a new wife Flossie and two sons aged 21 and 19. John died in Wichita, Kansas, in 1966.
Rose's children were John Peter (1906-06); Catherine Vernette (1907-08); Roselyn Marie Caroline "Bonnie" (1909-99, married Daniel Larkin) and Phyllis Elizabeth (1911-84, married Peter Rollinger).
Rose's 1971 obituary is for Rose Holland "beloved wife of the late John, mother of Bonnie Larkin and Phyllis Rollinger (so the family story that Frank married a widow with two daughters was true), grandmother of Ronald Larkin and Robert Hulfish, and great-grandmother of three". Rose married John Holland before 1937 because when her mother Caroline Lehn died in 1937 the informant was her daughter Rose Holland.
