Received 100 pounds from will of Clarinda Inman nee Blackwell in 1844. He tried working as a Grocer in Camberwell about 1850, but returned to carpentry. His death cert said he died at 85 - a one yr. error

John married Harriet Halls, daughter of Benjamin Agnis Halls and Harriet Blackwell, on 30 Apr 1834 in Colchester Essex [All Saints].³⁶ (Harriet Halls was born in 1812 in Colchester Essex ³⁶ and died in 1887 in Kensington London ³⁶.)
