Ann married William Hatten, son of William Hatten and Elizabeth Boult, on 11 May 1792 in Hardley Norfolk.55 (William Hatten was born on 17 Aug 1766 in Beccles Suffolk 55 and died on 11 Jul 1835 in Great Finborough Suffolk 55.)

Information from Chris Hatten. Witnesses William Hayward (Ann's brother, born 1754, who was also churchwarden at Hardley), and Susannah Safford, probably sister of Samuel Safford who married Ann's sister Mary Hayward in Mettingham in 1789.
I had another scan last night at the marriage record of our Gt Gt Gt Grandparents William Hatten & Ann Hayward obtained from the Norfolk Bishops Transcripts (p.629 of 726pp in this collection). No parish is given on this particular double page. However, the previous page has 'Toft Monks' scribbled on it; a couple of pages back (p626) and in the same handwriting we have the title 'Baptisms as extracted from the Parish Register of Toft Monks'. Pages 626 - 630 are signed off by Richard Spurgeon Curate (the same handwriting as the text) and a further - and much neater signature - of Wm Hayward, Church Warden, is also given. (William Hayward was probably the older brother of Ann, born 1754 in Mettingham Sfk, and died c.1822 in Hardley Norfolk). So it looks as if Toft Monks is the venue for the Hatten - Hayward marriage. (Toft Monks is the village just to the NE of Gillingham).
