John married Jane Mutch, daughter of John Mutch and Hannah Williams, on 27 Sep 1808 in Bidston Birkenhead Wirral Cheshire [St. Oswald's].¹⁵ (Jane Mutch was born in 1790 in Moreton Wirral Cheshire ¹⁷ and died in Mar 1874 in Bidston Birkenhead Wirral Cheshire ⁴².)
