The Fraser Family Album
William Hatten and Esther Cooper, pictures of her maternal
grandparents left to me by my mother.
The photos were taken in Swanage, Dorset, by Geo H. Cox. George Henry Cox
started his Swanage photography business in 1904, and William died in 1907, so
the photos were taken sometime in that three year period. Thanks to David Haysom,
Hon. Curator of the Swanage Museum, for dating the photos. For the connection

The purpose of this small web-site is to share the family pictures I've inherited myself or received from other members of my extended family. I still need information on many of the people pictured. For my complete family tree, see here.
It was great to hear from Holly Thomas at Findmypast in April 2015 that I'd won the 2015 "Findmypast Tree Award for Best-Illustrated Tree"! My prize was a year's World Subscription, which proved very helpful in finding a few elusive family members!

Two of my great-grandmothers were widows when they married my great-grandfathers and I'm descended from their second families! James Wren Fraser had two older half-sisters and William Hughes had an older half-brother.
